Infant memorial Size: 24" dia. detail Material: Italian Marble Descripton: Here is a detail from an infant memorial. This deeply profound example of funereal imagery was provided by the family in the form of a snapshot taken from a preexisting classic originating in France. I enlarged and remodeled it and duplicated it in Italian stone. During this process I found myself conflicted by the excitement of such a challenge and the deep sorrow of it's meaning.
